The CRTC proceeding (<\/span>Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2024-293<\/span><\/a>) is a <\/span>review of making it easier to choose a wireless phone or internet service, particularly enhancing customer notifications.<\/span><\/p>\n

The DWCC documents focus on the experiences and perspectives of Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing (<\/span>DDBHH<\/b>) Canadians. It examines how DDBHH Canadians interact with customer notifications for wireless phone and internet services, with a primary emphasis on their general experiences.<\/span><\/p>\n

The DWCC submitted two documents as well as procedural letters requesting extensions for the submission deadlines for these documents.\u00a0

Survey Analysis Report<\/span><\/a>

Deaf Wireless Consultative Committee (<\/span>DWCC<\/b>) submitted this report with a goal to provide a comprehensive snapshot of the lived experiences of DDBHH Canadians, aligned with the experiences of Committee and Board members regarding the use of customer notifications for wireless phone and internet services. The report includes quantitative data from <\/span>134 survey participants<\/b>, to provide evidentiary support on the general experiences of DDBHH with customer notifications for wireless phone and internet services from survey respondents.\u00a0<\/span>
