On April 6, 2017, the CRTC released its resulting policy: http://crtc.gc.ca/eng/archive/2017/2017-91.htm

Unfortunately,  this resulting policy showed no references to Accessibility, which was disappointing for our groups, especially after the hours spent writing the above documents. It is our view they possibly mean wireless alerts for EVERYONE in Canada regardless.

Special Note: CAD-ASC did write a supporting letter to follow up with the Alberta Association of the Deaf (AAD) letter of concern about the lack of accessibility provided during the Fort McMurray wildfires emergency and critical situations.
